This child's afghan design is based upon the 2-6-0 Mogul locomotive built between the 1860s and 1920s. Steam locomotives are classified by wheel arrangement. The 2-6-0 designation indicates two leading wheels, six drive wheels, and no wheels under the cab. Charts include the locomotive, coal car, tanker car, three box cars and, of course, the caboose. Alphabet charts are also included to personalize your afghan.
